Improve article marketing with anchor text links

We’ve all heard about regular straight text links, as they are the most common we tend to use or refer to in various contexts. If you include this link into the content you submit to web directories for article marketing, you will create backlinks, and your materials will receive a positive indexation from the search engines. Yet, article marketing can profit a lot more from the intelligent use of links.

An anchor text link is a link to your website that also includes a keyword. Search engine optimization and Google ranking depend on this process, and web investors who use it have all chances of improving their business status on the Internet. The keywords used in anchor text links make the core of article marketing because they play the role of the topic that leads the reader back to your web site.

The anchor text links are created using regular HTML code. Each of the elements used in this code tells the search engine how to read it. You start the link with ‘<’ followed by ‘a href=’ to show it’s a link to a home page. ‘>’ ends the code for the link. Then you include the anchor text or the MAIN KEYWORD, and close the code with .

The multiplicity of messages through the Internet is both a blessing and a curse. But it only works if you surround yourself with your own niche. For everyone is a niche unto themselves. Now they may have and be part of greater and lesser networks – replete with mavens, connectors, and salesmen – but you really still have to be true to yourself.

A message is converted to a package which is then translated by a “salesman” so that we can emotionally “grok” what is coming our way, accept it, and use it. A very few individuals can control their emotional states. This takes quite a bit of personal training (which anyone, actually, can master on their own). We respond to the emotions of people around us. Practically, studies have been done which show what we hear and say are a small percentage of the communications we actually recieve. Gladwell’s book mentions several examples and studies of this area.

When you get a point across emotionally, you can appeal to the subconscious and activate patterns and habits the individual may not even know are there. This is what Madison Avenue has paid psychologists to study for years. They want to (hopefully, but in vain) find key push-buttons which will make selling easier.
